Great Lakes Pollution

According to recent studies some scientists belive that the great lakes have high levels of pollution and that everyone living around them has a high chance of getting cancer. http://www.newsdesk.org/archives/004555.html

FROM THE ARTICLE: "A Canadian researcher who peer-reviewed the study told the CPI that the findings have been suppressed due to government links to industries that may be liable for industrial pollution in the Great Lakes ecosystem." --

If the (US) government is suppressing these findings to protect big industries, that means they're KEEPING the report from being PUBLISHED and they're putting people in danger! This is a serious charge; we shouldn't just believe the first article we read...

y do they think that the people who live around the great lakes will get cancer. and what is making it so they are more likly to get cancer. but besides that it was a good choose from a article.
